On 23 August, a book festival of Rezekne and Viļānu will be held in Stockholm. This year will be the eighteenth festival celebration. Festival organisers Rēzekne municipality “Kaunatas parish association” unit Stoļerovas parish administration, supporters of Rezekne municipality and Rēzekne Technology Academy.

This year, our counselor – poet, journalist, publicist, dramaturger Anna Rancāne – has received the national highest award – a three-star order. In the 100 th anniversary of Latvia, two books of Anne Ranāne were issued – poetry and short prose Krajums “Prisa i Silent”, and a documentary story “behind the Azara bolti barzi …” on the life of the Cordirigent Teresis brochure. In conversation with Anne Rananans on creative activity, we will focus on the preservation of our identity and the love of homeland.
The literary heritage of the writer Mara Jakubowska has works for both adults and children and young people. Readers and other stakeholders will have the opportunity to meet with the writer and participate in the talks on life and literary work, as well as to see the book “Rufiis finds home” and “Rufis goes into life!” the main character of the hero ruffi.
