Implementation OF Maltas youth initiative project “summer adventure in Rēzekne River curves”

On the morning of August 14, the 18 most active and brave Maltas, Kaunatas, Feimaņu parish young people went to challenge the Rēzekne river.
We started boating in Sprudzev. The first stage was lighter and richer, but the next day after the rest stop, the “green island” in the guest house carried new and unpredictable tests: the relocation of the boats and the dragging of the sloped trees and cane trees, stones and mushrooms. This summer we are spoiled by a very warm time, which in turn has reduced the level of water in rivers.
When boating along the river, the project participants had the opportunity to jump among themselves, agreeing on the most rational decision, experience in collaboration with the surrounding people and getting acquainted with each other. Taking a step outside the routine and routine environment, there was a chance to acquire new skills and skills. The boating on the river was a wonderful opportunity for young people to check their physical abilities and insight, to gain new experience, friends, to actively spend their free time. Joy and satisfaction of a nice group of young people who came forward in the project accepted the challenge and dealt with a variety of difficulties! Most young people admitted that they would be happy to re-enter the boat. In the evening they were all pleasantly tired, pleased with the goal achieved and positively mood for new adventures!
The draft initiative was implemented thanks to the funding of the municipality of Rezekne, the co-financing of the parish administration of Maltas, as well as the leasing organisation “Mirka” for a nice summer adventure, boating along the magnificent, landscape Rēzekne river!
