Call for proposals for youth initiatives launched

The Ministry of Education of Rezekne shall open a tender for the award of co-financing for the 2018 youth initiative projects, which will be implemented in the period from 1 April to 1 November 2018. The aim of the competition is to support youth inclusion in political, economic, social and cultural processes in the Rēzekne municipality.
Basic criteria and priorities for the competition:

• the project is developed and implemented by young people themselves;
• the youth initiative project implements youth cultural, sports, youth participation, non-formal education or environmental activities of young people;
• the youth initiative project promotes useful leisure, non-formal learning and promotion of healthy lifestyles among young people;
• the youth initiative project promotes the development of a youth friendly environment in Rezekne municipality, inviting all interested young people to participate;
• the project contributes to promoting entrepreneurship among young people.

Youth NGOs, youth centres, youth clubs, pupils self-government and youth informal interest groups are invited to participate in the competition. The amount requested for the implementation of the project shall not be less than EUR 150,00 and more than EUR 400,00.
