Announces the submission of applicants for the Latvian Year of Cultural HERITAGE, BOŅUKS 2018

At the end of February 2019, the eleventh annual meeting of Latgalical Cultural activists and norms will be presented at the Latgalian cultural year “Boņuks”. In order to ascertain the recipients of the prize, the applicants will be announced, which will expire on 10 January 2019. By entering a new decade, the award of the prize and the next year will receive 11 Latgalian cultural activities, events, events and personalities. “Boņuks” is still the only prize to highlight and honour achievements and achievements in Latgalian cultural life.
To date, the “Boņuks” prizes of the Latvian cultural year were presented annually at least 18 nominations, but the number of “Boņuks” will be 11. There will also be no nominations in the future, but candidates will be able to submit three categories, from which the prize jury will select 10 prizes – activities, personalities, events, works, without which the most unthinkable latgalical culture in 2018 will be most likely. The annual “Boņuks” award ceremony is not only a reflection of the events of the previous year, but also the meeting of the most active people, stakeholders and supporters of the Latgalian culture. On February 24, 2019, the Latgale Embassy GORE, IN the big hall, the ceremony of the award ceremony is a musical cupled association “Latgale reps”, the group “baritoni”, Arnis Slobožaņins, Etnographic ensemble “Vabalis”, the group “Lata Donga”, the project “Texas sys Latgalis I”, “Mr. & prints” and “AuscardRecords” Repere Water and others. The goal of the Latgalian cultural year “Boņuks” is to promote the preservation and development of the Latvian cultural environment, as well as to collect and honour the brightest and most important achievements in Latgalian culture in the last year. At the time of the prize, which took place in February of that year, “Boņuks” was presented in 19 nominations. In the form of a completed application questionnaire, “Boņuks 2018” in electronic format, by post or in the form of an online application, Latgale embassy GORE will wait until 10 January 2019. The submitted applications will be evaluated by a Latvian cultural environment or a jury of the relevant prize sector in at least 25 people.
The Latgalian cultural year “Boņuks” was first presented in 2009, but since 2013 the Award was organised by Latgale Embassy GORE team. “Boņuks 2018” is supported by the Latvian Culture Capital Foundation Latgale cultural programme with the support of A/S “Latvian State Forests” and the Latgale Region Development Agency, as well as the city council of Rezekne and the Latgalian cultural news portal lacuga.lv.
