Robots come into the new junior elementary school

A good cooperation in the field of robotics with Kaunatas High School has developed in the new foundations, so that in order to strengthen it, on April 12, the Director of the New Jerusalem primary school, Ivars igrais, together with the members of the school robot, Žanet Piļku, Valerie Makeyev, Leonid Smirnov, Raivi Basuli, Valentine Zuku, drove to THE Kaunatas secondary school to share their experience with the design of LEGO robot and their programming.
Raivis Bazulis and Valentin Juks demonstrated KIT robot, allowing Kaunatas pupils to act independently. The two students are also actively attending the Rēzekne Technology Academy Robotic Collections, where the basic knowledge acquired is used in the design of KITS robots of Jaunjjan elementary school.
In contrast, Žanette Pilka, Valerija Makeyeva and Leonid Smirnov, Kaunatas, played LEGO robot in action. The pupils showed how a programmed robot followed a complex area, participating in robot sumo struggles. The Lego city, where the robots had to carry out various missions (various tasks), was also demonstrated.
At the end of the Robots presentation, the Director of the New Junior School, Ivars igrais, talked about the results achieved in this school year by participating in Latvian-scale robotic competitions on 20 February in Cēsis, 27 February in Sigulda, 2 April in Riga.
The New Junior School team, with the participation OF FIRST LEGO League Latvia 2015/2016 robotic competitions in Cēsis, proud of the resulting 1 st place in the nomination “ROBOT DESIGN”, which was awarded for the best program code.
At the end OF the meeting Kaunatas high school director Skaidrīte Uzulina welcomed the achievements of the New Junior School. She spoke TO Kaunatas high school pupils and encouraged them to associate their future profession with information technology, as it is the most requested profession after that moment, and in the near future THE demand of specialists is going to grow rapidly.
The Virgin Primary School is prepared to continue the ongoing collaboration with Kaunatas High School in the design of BOTH LEGO Robots and their programming so THAT THE LEGO robot competition between the Rēzekne District Schools teams can be organized in the future.
The director of the school, Ivars igrais, thanked the DIRECTOR of THE Kaunatas High School, Skaidrite Uzulina, for the fact that THE Kaunatas High School gave two robots to the New Jerusalem primary school for the duration of the competition, so that more students could be represented in the Robots Primary School.
