Meaningful communication in social networks - how to achieve this

On December 20, a seminar on digital marketing was held in the municipality of Rezekne, “meaningful social media communication: trends, tools and recommendations for reducing language barriers”.
The seminar discussed topics such as the use of social media in Latvia and the world, highlighting the differences in audiences, discussing social media trends - which are topical in the social media environment – which should be taken into account in communicating. The communication channels and their specifics were analysed, providing recommendations for the choice of channels. An important provision for successful communication and setting targets and setting themes. To understand how successful activity in networks is, the monitoring of social media is important – how to find out what we are talking about.
In recent years, more and more people listen to what is known as the leaders of the so-called social media opinions, and the lecturer recommended the use of leadership and skills to achieve higher results.
Seminar audience - municipalities, parish employees, municipality entrepreneurs who actively use social networks for the advertising of their business and activities. Similarly, communication in social networks is interesting to any citizen, as social networks - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter - have become a daily case for many people around the world and reach the audience of young people without social networking.
The seminar was directed by Lector Wilhelms Meister, head of the social media department @ WRONG Digital. He has nine years of experience in social media communication, working with clients such as Swedbank, LMT, Neste, Latvian State Forests, Riga Black Balsam. A team of seven people who provide social media communication brands in Latvia and the Baltic States develop social media strategies, create and manage digital campaigns, advise and provide lectures on meaningful social media communication.
The seminar was organised in THE CONTEXT OF the project CRISCO “Cross-border Citizens' Participation in Local Community Life to increase the efficiency of cohesion policy” under the “Crossroad of the Regions-Fostering Involvement of All Citizens in Local life to improve Social cohesion”. The project consists of eight European national governments from Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Slovenia.
