The March each year comes across a variety of snowberries, with snowy pools, with cousy fields, with a wrestler, but the constant is one: the moment of commemoration for those who were expelled on March 25, 1949, when the most extensive transmission of Latvian residents to Siberia and other remote Soviet regions of the Union took place. Although the history train is moving away from the events of that time every year, the new generation needs to know why the country's flags with mourning ribbons are flowing every year.
Also this year, ON 23 March, 1 TP22T high school teachers, pupils and villages gathered on 23 March to honour this sad history page with commemoration. He was addressed by the head of the counsellor, Stanislava Inkina, reminding the sad facts, THE Kaunatas High School Director Alīna Gendele and THE Kaunatas parish deputy Harald Brock. The representatives of the classes and other visitors lit the candles to the memorial stone to honor the innocent victims of repression.
