Thinking about the time we live in, it is often the question of whether there is no need for competition in fishing, because people have much more important things to think about. But when talking to the “coping” enthusiasts, the doubt disappears. We also found the most successful zemledus fishermen in the summer.
In the course of the week, everyone watched the weather forecast and prepared to fight, although the fishermen themselves say that there is no bad weather on the lake!
23 participants were registered in the competition list: 4 fishermen from Lendžu parish, 5 hosts and 14. Two women were also competing with men. The participants were acquainted with the rules and, following a competition in the mast of the flags of the flags, the sky shooting in the sky, they all went to take the freely selected sectors to the lake to begin the fight for the best fisherman's title.
After three hours of strained drilling, search of fish dislocation sites, attraction and decontamination, fishermen went ashore to weigh and measure their catches.
The distribution of prizes expanded as follows:
1 st place Kalvis Beek (Vērēmi);
2 nd place Jānis Masaļskis (Vērēmi);
3 rd place Dzintars Bititis (Lendži);
The largest fish “copman” Jānis Gailums (Lendži);
Jānis Masaļskis (Vērēmi) won the COMPETITION.
The soup, which was laughing and encouraging the appetite as participants and supporters, also deserved recognition.
Until next Copy Versions! We hope we will be joined by other neighbouring parish fishermen. More fun!
