LIAA notes the spring of 2022 in business incubators
The Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) business incubators announce the spring of 2022 and invite new entrepreneurs and business idea authors to apply for pre-incubation or incubation program in the business incubator of their region.
From 21 February to 21 March 2022, the acceptance of applications for pre-incubation and incubation programmes in twelve IDA business incubators throughout Latvia will be opened, including Rezekne's business incubator, inviting the new entrepreneurs and the authors of business ideas from Rezekne, Rezekne municipality, Ludza municipality and awards.
Pre-incubation program it is appropriate for both natural and legal persons who want to assess the viability of their business idea. Within six months, the participants of the programme have the opportunity to receive all the necessary business ideas for development – training and seminars (at the time of restrictions, the training is provided online), valuable contacts and accession to the largest new entrepreneurs in the Community in Latvia, as well as the support of a working space or co-operation, mentor and other entrepreneurs.
Incubation programme, additional pre-incubation support provides AN opportunity to receive 50% co-financing for the purchase of services necessary for business development, such as accounting, room rental, design, marketing, technological advice and prototype development, certification, laboratory costs etc. Grant aid to new incubators will be up to EUR 15 000 to cover the costs of the service and to cover the costs of production facilities and raw materials. The incubation programme is intended for start-ups not older than 3 years.
Login FOR IDAL business incubator support programs will take place in two rounds - applications from the incubation programme applicants, from 21 February to 4 March, will be expected, while the adoption of the pre-incubation programme applications will take place from 1 March to 21 March. Applications for programmes may be submitted electronically by sending an electronic signed application to pasts@liaa.gov.lv or through the portal www.latvija.lv.
Before completing the application, the interested parties are invited to apply for on-the-spot and online consultations in their nearest regional business incubator or its support unit. In February and March, LATVIAN business incubators will also organise “INFO days” throughout Latvia, during which they will be able to expand on the services and support opportunities provided by incubators, as well as the procedures for logging and reception. New entrepreneurs are invited to find the nearest regional LIAA business incubator after their territory, including two business incubators in Latgale region – Daugavpils and Rezekne. The business incubator services of Rezekne are available to the authors of business ideas and new entrepreneurs in the administrative territory of four municipalities in North-East Latgale – Rezekne, Rezekne, Ludza and the provinces of prizes.

In THE business incubators OF LIAA, 2474 pre-incubators have developed their business ideas, of which more than 50 business ideas have been Latvians who live abroad or representatives of diaspora. In the incubation programme, 363 new entrepreneurs and their teams continue to develop their company, while 86 incubation programmes have been successfully concluded with support for 4 years.
