Make Bērzgales for the manor blowing smoothly!

In September, the European Union project “works in parks” financed by the forest development fund was supported. In the framework of this project, funding was granted FOR the greening and improvement of THE Bērzgales manor area. Total project amount EUR 600.00. The funds obtained were used for the purchase of chewhes and timber.
On the morning of 15 October, Bērzgales primary school pupils, local government employees and residents were gathered at the estate, in order to place the chewing bushes purchased in the nursery “forest races”: wolves, hops, jasmins and others. Prior to the commencement of work ON Bērzgales parish administration, Arvīds Dunskis provided information regarding the project and the sponsor. The project manager presented the specificities of the collection of mud parks, the conditions for selection of chewing bushes and the planting rules. It should be noted that the construction project was already developed in spring and submitted together with the project application for the Latvian local government.
The timber purchased will be used to repair the roof of the manor and make benches.
