The mysteries of Luban Lake, or one day in Varakalans, Madona and Luban

The tourism stock “Luban Lake Secrets” has gained increasing attention among Latvian tourists. From 1 May to 1 October, in the area of Luban Lake, Rēzekne, Madona, Luban, Uruguay, Awards and Varakalans, the tourist objects present may be received on a member card. In the final event of the campaign on October 1, everyone can hope for lottery prizes, which will be lowered, but the greater the joy and the benefit is to familiarise themselves with unseen and exciting Latgales and Vidzeme places closely related to Latvia's largest, legend and various stories of Luban Lake.
At the end of May, the Tourism Information Centre (BELIEVES) specialists of the municipality of Varakalans gathered together to assess the course of the stock, and then, along with tourism entrepreneurs, would go to a small trip along the Tourism sites of Varakalans, Madona and Luban.
Varakalans Manor. Although the municipality of Varakalans, like the Stirniene, Barkava, Murmastiene, Ošupe and Others, is now voluntarily administratively added to the Vidzeme Planning Region, ethnographic and cultural historically, it is and remains Latgale, also a large part of the tourist entrepreneurs from here are willing to speak to visitors from Latgale in the native, Latgalian language. Similarly, the Count Borhu Manor was the only Latgale manor for a long time, in which a small part of the former magnificent was preserved with enormous effort. Although the renewed Lūznavas manor has now joined it, Varakalans are, however, more majestic and ancient, and the spirit of Count Borhu is still still. The museum's head terese Korsaka shows an exhibition on Borhu's family, including the Natural Researcher and the scientist Mihalu Borhu. Some beautiful fresses have been restored in this room, but the fragments found here and there indicate that such drawings have been on walls throughout the castle. Unfortunately, their restoration is still lacking. In the 50 s of last century, when Varakalans High School was located in the castle, the directories of the directories had broken and destroyed luxurious pot ovens and parquet floors. The museum workers are laughing that the round cast iron ovens now have some sort of exotic exotic, but it is sad to imagine that the Varakalans Castle might be even more luxurious than Rundal in better conditions and with larger means. However, the hope and faith of the present-day housekeepers - the Catholic Kapel, where the festival is still from Borhu's time, has been restored. Tourists are offered a visit to the palace and park, while the luxurious hall can drink coffee and taste the musical heritage.

 “Raibais tear.” In a convenient place – on the edge of the Riga highway – the attraction of the fish ponds is tempted. It can be fished with carp, carousels, beads, pikes and other fish, and a cafe is offered for a third year, where you can order lunch for larger tourist groups. Accommodation and sauna are also available.

 “Chesters”. While leisure tourists can be scared by a journey through dusty terrestrial roads, the destination - the gorgeous beauty and the kindly landlords outweigh these efforts. You can buy different types of honey and bee products, wax candles, and a rich collection of days (around 300 varieties!) is pleased in July and August. Honey is excellent – perhaps because all the hives are painted, they have been done by the master of the master, the pupils.

 “Scalpitations”. In the centre of Murmasten village, it is advisable to visit the wonderful home of Latgale Lirige, the mother of the poet Marta Barbales (1933 – 2003). Still a poet in the chess, the grateful landlords had planted Martha's grove, which had now melted. The story of a poet's sister, Margaret Selicka, about marta Barballi, about her birth in history curves, about Murmasten's history is beautiful and emotional true. The steak grown here is very demanded at Riga Kundry, the cattle are also sold in the auction house to Turkey. Tourists can rest in a transported barrel sauna, but in the autumn side there will be around 140 varieties of gladiol. The farm has received a grant from the municipality of Madona in the last year for young entrepreneurs “Madona var better”, which has been purchased for meat processing.

“Liepsala”'- Memorial Memorial for the first commander of the Latvian National Army, Colonel Oscar Kalpakam (1882 – 1919) should attend any patriot of his country. It combines the formal parade pomposity with a low-pricked and Latvian sentiment – a smooth-cut lawn, a cobble and a giant oak that still remembers the rural boy with violets, artistic fragile and emotional, who became a powerful troops, able to inspire their soldiers to fight for Latvia's freedom.  “Nuclei”. We must go to those who have a piracy and the rituals associated with it. A woman's sauna was prepared at that time – the scented scent of the bears and the apple-flowers.

 “Rosa”. In this field, you can see a wide variety of wings, but the most interesting, undeniable, is a stream! The big birds have been bought only two years ago, but now they have been enriched in the Indrian parish, eating the grass like cows, blinking big eyes with long eyelashes (it turns out that these eyelashes are also used to make cosmetic brushes), but the strawberry of the strawberries has already been shown, showing the master John's ribs. Now the ostrich man is turned into a separate volrier to calm and rethink life, but the master does not keep a bad mind and tell the most exciting stories about the lives of ostrils. I've seen an ostrich egg for the first time in my life, it's been cooked for 50 minutes, but it's not much different from the chicken plank, but in various biscuits and cakes, ostrich eggs give a special kid. In the shadows of the big ostries there was a peacock, guinea fowls, bottles and other exotic birds, which are not less exciting objects.

Old baker, a museum of the opera Jānis Zabera (1935 – 1973), located in his home. Jānis Zabers is undeniably the best Latvian solosinger of all time, his unique voice for several generations is one of the Latvian basic values. THE museum is painted BY J. Zaber's memorial things, stage clothes, musical instruments, photos, letters, a lot of stands for which the tourists don't have time or desire. Tourism and artisanal centre of Luban municipality. Luban is a cosy and ancient city on the shore of Aiviekstes. Abortion. The region of Luban had been occupied already in mesolite, 10 th gt. before our era. From 1938 to 1999, the archaeological excavations of Luban, a lake, discovered around 30 mesolite and neolithic, as well as late neolithic and early bronze-era settlements. The archaeological significance of Luban Lake's wetlands is characterised by the emergence of the first population in the current territory of Latvia after the resignation of glaciers to the north. It was when Riga was still under the waters of the ice lake, --- it was reported on the home page of Luban. The breath of this history was also felt in the camp of the stone age, which had been built by history enthusiasts on the banks of Aiviekstes. One of them, Maris Valainis, taught us how to handle the arrows and arrows, how to throw up the spear, and make it exciting to sit in the doorstep, imagine himself in an ancient man's skin before several thousand years ago, picking up dishes, weapons, household accessories. It turns out that Latgale's parties are shooting in the tourist host target.

“Widow”. There was a long and rough day of travel. The stone park “Waidavas” is one of the largest in Latvia, and around 4000 rocks, the master Strautiņš invites them to listen, feel the stories of stones, their amazing calm, because there is only one stone with negative energy in this garden – a piece of iron lava. The participants of the trip differed around the sunset. The tourists, of course, had such a strained and saturated route in one day's excursion, but each of the places seen in Madona and Luban's side should be seen, enjoyed, tasted and felt slow and beautiful. Each of them is the secret of Lake Luban. Not for the velvet in a note that we were offered to pull out in the moisture, blond and buggy Dace as a peculiar oracle, i read to myself very significant lines that should be remembered for every tourist or tourist guide: “One of the adventures is a thousand times more valuable than one careless and convenient day” (Paula Koelju).
