From December 19 to January 23, THE Lūznavas manor will look at Ilmar Hunt's creative works – painting and wood works. On December 21 at 13.00 Everyone interested in the opening of the exhibition “looking for balance”.
Ilmārs Medinieks (1973) is a Balvi, but currently the place of life and work is Salacgriva. His creative activity began in the secondary school of Rezekne's applied art, learning the field of ceramics. Thereafter, long and active years have been spent in the business environment until the search for self-expression is started again. In his skills, Ilmārs developed and learned both the environmental design at the University of Rezekne (now the Rēzekne Technology Academy), and in individual courses and self-training. All flooding has changed from business wood processing, intermediate and transition, in practice and improving the quality of life of people, including wood sauna, interior, various types of, so-called small architecture. In recent years, Ilmārs has focused exclusively on artistic self-expression. Based on the practical experience of working with wood material, the tree material is now revived in beautiful, well-filled artistic works. For his direct teacher Ilmārs, in deep dignity and gratitude, looks at Professor Vladlava's associate of Professor Vladlava, an associate professor of the Rēzekne Technology Academy, who had been studying both in the secondary school of Rezekne and during his studies at the University of Rezekne. Ilmārs's artistic world view is the works of tuvi Eric Marie's callout, which also has a hard-faced external reality environment with a human inner sense of romantic romantic.
The artist's creative activity has begun looking for a balance... Balance between day-to-day activities and their unique self-expression. Looking for a balance between the rough and fine, between the black and white tones and the colours of life. Wooden tiles, their contrast in color tones, shape and texture, look at their eyes, looking at mosaics slightly. However, the natural and life-absorbed material – a tree, call for a touch - stop … feel. The work of the artist is based on the creation of feelings – building – materialization in the painting of saturated wooden mosaic, bright and live colours, as well as in functional matteria – interior decores. On the other hand, the wooden frames created by Ilmar Medner are both a framework and a continuation of the art. Steady-state searches continue daily. Looking for a balance to feel a moment, feel harmony, feel the touch.
The exhibition “looking for balance” AT Lūznavas in Manor will be seen from 19 December to 23 January. Entrance to the opening event of the exhibition on 21 December at 13.00 is free of charge.
