Lūznavas Manor will see the exhibition of Maruta Raudes porcelain works

From October 12 to November 10, Viļānos's births will be seen in Lūznavas manor, but last year unfortunately, the work of the artist Marutas Raudes is “always maximum”, which will be a retrospective of the artist's beauty, compiling works from previous exhibitions. For the opening of the exhibition “always maximum”, everyone is invited – on 12 October at 14.00.
The artist Maruta Maria Raude was born in October 1965 in Varakavans, studying AT Viļānu in high school, Viļānu in a children's music school, a piano and an acordeon game. In 1985, MR Raude completed his secondary school of art and design, but in 1986 he was in the Latvian Academy of Art, where he graduated from the design graphic department in 1992, but obtained a master's degree in 2000. Since 1991, he has been a member of the Latvian artists' Union since 1998.
The artist worked in various techniques, dominated by porcelain, building and painting. The topics of works are human and natural relationships. Also worked in a graphic, Ofort technique. Marutas Raudes painted teaths are included in several books issued by Lark Books, “500 Teapots”, “500 prints on Clay”, “500 Ceramic sculptures”. The painted plates are mentioned in the British author Paula Scott's book “Painted Clay”, but the painting methods – the Canadian author Matthias Osterman's books “the Ceramic Surface” and “Ceramic narratives”.
During his life, the artist has organized more than 20 personal exhibitions, participated in group exhibitions and art symposia in Latvia and abroad – Lithuania, Estonia, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Turkey and Australia. The works of Marutas Raudes are located in the collection of Daugavpils Mark Rootko Art Centre, Latvian Artists Union Museum, Latvian National Art Museum, Powerhouse Museum Sydney (Australia), Mersina New Art Museum (Turkey), as well as private collections in Latvia, Russia, Sweden, England, France, USA, Hong Kong.
The artist's life stopped in 2018 after a struggle with a serious illness. The role of Maruta Raudes continues to take care of husband Alf and son Janis Martin, her established porcelain art traditions in the Marutas Raudes art centre.
The Marutas Raudes exhibition “always maximum”, which will be seen IN Lūznavas manor from October 12 to November 10, is an artist's beauty retrospection that selected works from the previous years' exhibitions “… and then they went to the river …“, “Perfect Place for You”, “first day or Monday”, “four nar red seas”, “totem”.
