On November 11, on the day of Lāčplēsis, we refer to the victory of the Latvian State Army over the Western Russian Voluntary Army, or the so-called Bermont troops on November 11, 1919. Over time, the celebrations of this day have gained new features, but the guiding theme remains unchanged – remember and honor about Latvia's freedom fought! In Malta, these festivals were saturated this year: a memorial stone was discovered, a book presented and representatives of several parish families met.
Monument
Two of the activities of November 11 were due to the concern of Latvian-known maltese – photohistorian Peter Korsaka. With his initiative and the support of the head of the Maltese parish administration Vitalia ants, as well as the donations of many similar people (including Latvia-known personalities – Oiram Spaedad, Lydia Doroņinai-Lasmanei, Valteram Nollendorf, etc.) The Maltese parish reveals the memorial stone “National Park of Maltese” and their supporters' commemoration. It will come directly to the entrance to Rosentov's graveyard (also to his place by P. Korsak), inviting him to stop, sit down and remember everyone who is not known for various reasons. “I have a great satisfaction that, for the centuries of Latvia, i was able to devote the names of my native parish to Latvia. Well, i'll have a place to burn the candle about my communist regimes. To be an eternal memorial to them," said Officer Peteris Korsak, a three-star officer. His memory of the national partisans and tragedy in Rabskov, which ruined the Yupemu family, did not make peace until the materials found in the archives were found in the archives during the two years, and in 2017, during the photographer, a meeting with the other people had brought to the idea of such a memorial site.
Rozentova's parish, Rinald Brock, emphasized that “this monument will allow the minds to remember the facts about the past and the fate of their villages.” Let this monument make us think of what we are all prepared to give to Latvia. The honorary owner of the Latvian Defence Fund “Lāčplēsis”, the head of the Maltese parish administration Vitalijs ants said in his speech: “these monuments had long been deserved by those whose names were raised in granite and many others that we don't know yet. It's our all thanks to them. I call on everyone to remember the past, provide further information to help fill the white spots of Maltese parish and all the history of Latvia.“ The long way to the home side was also the subject of a national partisan “Maltese Lounds” (the Maltese High School, who was arrested before the end of the 12 th grade) Veronika Tench-Goldmane, who was 90 years of age this year. She praised God in a faint voice that he had helped the 9-year-old in Noriļsk that he had allowed to live up to this day when the memory of the people who did not give up and believed that Latvia was once free. Her daughter, Inara Pitch, who was born in Noriļsk, came to her mother. Inara also read two poems of MR Tench-Goldman: “Anthem Latgale”, with beautiful words, “here my people, here my place/I will always be at that eu woman”! and the other, “Latvia's birthday.” As well as the celebration event of the monument, the son of Anton Yared of Kurzeme, who thanked all donors and fellow people for the honesty of his father and other Maltese partisans, was also present. His presence was honoured by historians Inese Dreimane (Latvian occupation museum) and Zigmārs Turčinskis (researcher of Latvian National Institute of Latvia).
During the event, the young man's oath was handed over by seven candidates of the Rēzekne District Unit (instructor Ivars Kļaviņš). But in conclusion, the letters of the Maltese parish government were given: Peter Korsak, the rock-calf Joseph Madeleine, the businessman Yevgenius Križanovsky, and Janis Yared for his contribution to the realization of the idea of that monument. During the laying of flowers and candles, three shots of the militia sent symbolic greetings to all the celebrators of Lāčplēsis, both in the right and in the Maltese surroundings...
Book
Following a patriotic song, a concert at the Maltese Cultural House (with the participation of Irene Ancāne and the museum of the music group Arnolda Grinberga quintets) continued to meet in the Museum of Maltese History, the opportunity to meet the authors of the new book “winds of winds” Veronique Tenz-Goldman, the author of its picking idea, and the funding provider Peter Korsaka and other assistants in the implementation of the idea – Ināra Paiča and Skaidritis Swikes.
“A public historic story about the lives of Latgale people in the centuries of the 20 th century” – such is the subtitle of the book written in 2000. Also, the author of the cover of the cover is mr Korsan and the subject of the subject, he chose simply a tree – strong roots, but wind-drawn leaves...
A lot of editorial corrections were made at the time of the creation, and, as a result of the autologous illness, the accuracy of the facts and words was difficult, the daughter Inara Pitch gave a great contribution to it: “it was not easy for us to go, because the book covers a broad period of time, and we faced the fact that many words are new, but the book is based on the life story of Momma's cousin's family, depicting the life in Latgale during the period of Latvian holiday, the time of war, repression, etc., and until the resurgence of Latvia in the 90 s.” It is also important to mention that a number of words, phrases in Latin, are preserved in the book, in order to respect and preserve the colorite of the autologous language. So with the talks and compromises of the historian-philosophers, as well as the recommendations of Janina Kursis-Pakule and the introduction, the text came to the hands of the book and was handed over to the hands of the head of the publishing house of Latgale Culture Centre, John Elder.
It is the 90 th anniversary of the autopsy and a gift for Latvia hundreds of years and, above all, will be interesting to the people of Maltese parish and its surroundings, because the names, the placewords will make it impossible to find, at least seek similarities. It contains everything: ranging from humorific, human tires, and finally with exciting stories about Siberia's bitter destinies. But it must be said that this book, although in historical fact and autobiography, is and remains a fiction, so it would be unnecessary to find documentary accuracy in it, but the autopsy and many other hearts, both...
Native stories
The head of the Maltese Museum of History, Silvija Pigožne, greeted the guests of the event “closer to the root” of Lāčplēsis, reminded that, just on 11 November, in 1989, in Malta, the Iesvētītais red-white flag began to spread to the cultural house and pointed out that today the Maltese may be proud of the festival of people such as Peter Korsak and Veronica Tench-Goldman, as well as the new generation – League Tulinska, who, living in Riga, is studying his roots and wants to live in the ancestral site once.
Although the programme read that it would be possible to see the “League Tulinsk story of the family path from Ruijing to Rozentov”, the event became a number of births and delays in the memories. They found out about the lives of the forest guard Joseph Tench's daughter Veronica (“the girl from Latgale Forest”), who, as Anna Babre pointed out, is not only a poet, a writer, but also in the magazine “Catholic dzeive” has created the corners of “Greizu spigato in the world”. It was also mentioned in the fate of John Jared's father Anton (he was arrested in 1954, spent 19 years in Siberia), son Janis gave the museum a suitcase of his father, with whom he returned from the post. He was also able to find out about Peter Korsan's fate, who was about 60 years old that year since he had been forced to leave his native parish.
In conclusion, MR Pigožne gave the parish thanks to MR Korsak, MR Tenchai-Goldman and the League Tulinsk for co-operation in the development of the “Maltese parish studies and memories”. She thanked all the former, Andris Repelis for the musical background at the event, but noted that the story cycle of the Maltese Museum of Latvia, “closer to the root”, will continue to reveal the fate of Maltese parish-related families.
