In response to the invitation of Lily Zukovskaya, head of the Department of Education of Rezekne, to prepare gifts for Latvia on the 96 th birthday, Jans Sevastjanov, student of THE group of the pre-school educational institution of Maltas, and his grandmother, Valija, wrote their dedication to Latvia in the form of poetry.
When November is already in the march
And leaf gold under foot Burt,
Celebrate your birthday,
What we call Latvia
That land is bright and scandalous,
Where i'll be a cradle.
As a blue ribbon tek Daugava,
And there is a childhood name in the mouth.
I love every spot,
Where the lake eyes shine,
And there is a sanctuary at the end of the column,
I said to everyone, Good morning.
So that the mighty oak stands,
Let the growls smell and singing!
And the grandson, the ferocious footers,
You can run through the meadow!
For a peaceful sky for Latvia,
Shalt forests and lakes,
To make people better tomorrow
And better times will be!
