Maltas Special boarding school incl. “spring carousel”

Those who took part in the special event AT Maltas in the cultural house on 20 April 2017 will be sure that the tradition has been re-born. Where the festival's “rainbow” colours came out a few years ago, an updated “spring carousel” event began to be circled, in which children with severe mental disabilities can publicly express themselves in songs, dances, theatrical scenes, musicums. All the speeches were made with loud applause, as the viewers were invited school students under the guidance of their teachers.
The local schools of Latgale had delegated their most talented and artistic “C” class students. Thank you for speaking and joining together for Alexandrowa, Baltinava Christian, Ezersala, Meduma, Rwanda boarding primary schools, and the Catholic School of Rezekne for the Development Centre. The work performed by the creative team from THE Maltas special boarding school “C” classes unit and the associated non-mobile specialists from the methodological commissions of other curricula should also be noted. The programme's programme was content and emotionally diverse and sincere, and the organisational and technical support was intelligent and accurate. The new tradition will be strengthened by the visual identity created by the Spring Carousel event and even by a special anthem.
The second part of the programme brought children together for lunch, followed by musical playback, commemoration and dance. Children's creative activation and entertainment are an important task, but experience shows that the benefits of teachers are not less. It is known that even the largest and most secure schools alone will not be able to develop their activities without a valuable view from the edge, a fresh vision and an exchange of experience. Although no performance AT Maltas in a special boarding school event was compared and ranked, such views are a reliable and objective way of assessing their professional and creative capacity as teachers of similar schools. These meetings provide an opportunity to exchange both methods and ideas and opinions, but the positive atmosphere removes tension and ultimately winners and winners are all.
Thank you for small and big “spring carousel” participants! To meet next year!
Georg Ignatyev,
Maltas Director of Special Inboarding School
