Project of the reconstruction of the melioration system at Siledge

From 16 May to 31 August 2016, the municipality of Rezekne shall implement a project of the reconstruction of the joint melioration system.
On 16 May 2016, the municipality of Rezekne started implementing the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) programme “investments in tangible assets” of the Latvian rural development programme 2014-2020 “Support for investments in the development of agricultural and forestry infrastructure” project No 16-01-a00403-000143 “Reconstruction of the municipality of local significance in parish Silmalas”. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to restore the landings of the district of municipal significance in 1150 m. The melioration structures have been built over 40 years ago and their situation is unsatisfactory. The project focuses on the restoration of melioration ditches in order to prevent an emergency risk associated with the flooding of sewage plants in the vicinity of the palace.
Construction works are performed BY SIA “ells” from Viļānu. The amount of the contract for the performance of works is EUR 14 964.47 without value added tax. EAFRD funding for the project represents 90 % of eligible costs. The design of the project is carried out ON a MONTHLY basis. The planned deadline for completion of works is 18 August 2016.
