For young people

From July 14-16, an informal training was held at the Ismer-Zogotu Lake Lūznavas parish for young people of Rezekne, “you're a businessman 4”. 19 young people aged 16-20 participated in training.
On the first day, the camp participants met among themselves, participating in interactive activities. Not only did they allow young people to jump as a single, friendly team, but also tested their knowledge of entrepreneurship. In the afternoon, young people had the opportunity to learn how to generate ideas – how to address everyday problems through entrepreneurship, how existing businesses generate ideas, and to try their own hand in creating new products based on “problems” they saw in their daily life.
On the second day, young people were introduced to the basic principles of the establishment of products and services. A number of discussions on business assumptions have been promoted, as well as the main things that each entrepreneur should know when creating a new product or service.
In the second half of the morning, young people formed their own working teams and got to the “task X”. During this activity, the participants felt the role of business advisors; they lowered one of Rezekne's cities and municipalities, who formed new products or services during the day, thus acquiring new skills and knowledge in team work, innovation, strategic planning and sales.
As part of the informal training afternoon, a battling masterclass was offered to enable young people to rest from the working process and to create their own Souvenirs as a memory of training.
The surprise for young people was that representatives of companies – Dainis Kļaviņš (DKRobotics), Aldis Meirans from a recreational base at Lake Ismera Lake, Mārtiņš Pundurs (Adornments) and Igors Isupovs, representing T/C Suzanne, joined the presentations. They listened to the advice of young people and shared their experience in response to all questions.
His success story also shared the Instagram blogger Ainars Oscans (@dailypurrr), telling him how he created his account in social networks, what opportunities to earn in this whole new sphere and how he reached 651 thousand followers in such a short time.
This part of the evening had the greatest impact on young people, and informal talks with both entrepreneurs and among themselves continued after the event.
The closing day started with team activities that developed strategic thinking, team work, and other skills of successful entrepreneurs, as well as sports activities in a meadow that charged young people with the last camp.
This day was dedicated to marketing where young people had a chance to learn more about “marketing 1 2 3”, or how to successfully build a marketing strategy for their company. In order to strengthen the new knowledge, all participants took part in the competition and tried to play their hand in filming and assembling video ads.
These ads were shown at the end of informal training and the young people voted in favour of their favourite, thus determining the winners of the competition. All participants were awarded the competition.
In general, young people had the opportunity not only to learn more about entrepreneurship in various activities, but also to hear real business stories. That was what left the greatest impression on young people and inspired to start thinking about their business ideas much more seriously.
