Enclosed WITH Kaunatas village festival
On July 28, THE “Vodograj” of the Rēzekne Ukrainian Society, headed by Tatjana Orlov, arrived at Kaunatas in the village. MR Sergei Bashmakov and THE leader of THE Kaunatas People's House, Gunta Paulane, were welcomed by the Ansabli. Both the expectants and the singing ensemble were dressed in the People's Chats, symbolizing respect for history and belonging to their people.
The members of this collective enjoyed the local population, both with fun songs of life and couriosis, and with sweetish songs of their homeland and mother, and with jokes and anecdotes in Russian and Ukrainian languages. It should be said that Ukrainian people's suits and the participants themselves were bright, colorful and dynamic. Thank you for the excellent performance and concert devoted TO Kaunatas 115 years of anniversary!
On July 29, THE Festival of Festival and “Kaunatai 115” were held AT Kaunatas in the People's House. The young people had to fulfil three tasks: one another must say good words and a kind of criticism, participate in the reading competition, and make it to themselves, their family and the school for the future.
