Performed at the 2018 Open team championship at the table tennis

On 25 May, Rezekne's high school sports hall was closed by the open team championship of Rezekne at the table tennis. Ten teams participated in these competitions - from Rezekne, Daugavpils, Preiļi, Ludza, Kraslava, as well as a team from Kaunatas (Gold family).
This team championship differs from many others to the fact that each team player game plays a major role, whether he will give the team a score or no. Each team plays three games with each game, and a team match was also based on the team games. The teams were divided into two subgroups by five, which will determine which three teams from each sub-group will participate in the game for 1-6 th, while the rest are 7-10. The competition was interesting and azarta, because it wasn't clear who would win the first place in this team championship. The last round was the team that would become the champion of the Rēzekne District. The first place was organised by the team “Daniela” (Daugavpils), the second place in the Preilu team and the third place “Rezekne Traffic” (Rezekne). The team “Kaunata”, who represented Rēzekne District, won the fifth place (Liana Zelina and Juris Zeltins).
It is happy that there was a lot of youth among the participants in this tournament. As a prospective tennis, i would like to celebrate Kaunatas high school pupil Daini Rusakov, who won 8 th in the United Commander. Account should be taken of the fact that Dainis had worked with adults and masters, and the balance of forces was very similar. Thank the athletes for such active participation, and so that there is such a large number of participants next year!
