World Blood Day - this year at Luznava Manor

The World War Day was held in Rēzekne Municipality AT Lūznavas in Manor, 11 June. Even though the weather had changed, the rain and visitors had to suffer some inconvenience due to the reconstruction work in the surrounding area, however, from Saturday morning AT Lūznavas, the crowd gathered, and fulfilled the noble duty to donate blood, and also participate in the various creative workshops, listen to musician's performances, and look at Latgale's yogendile pearl - Lūznavas Manor.
The event was opened by the National Armed Forces National Guard orchestra, 12.00 was also launched at Lūznavas manor premises, which ran until 15.00. Because of the bad weather, the donor's responsiveness was not very large, 29 blood doses were donated, but that blood, perhaps, would be very necessary and even save life.
The first donor was THE 1 TP48T manor project manager, Inga Drail, who has a rare blood group, so blood is transferred every time. AS well AS Nautrēnu parish resident Guntim Rudz, the donor's story is already large, the blood has been handed over half a hundred times. On the other hand, the brothers Maris and Janis Noviki donated the blood for the first time. “There is a sense of satisfaction that i can help a patient, but maybe i may need to be,” says Maris. He acknowledges that THE Lūznavas manor, who has also participated in the renovation work, has revived the scrap of fracture, as a variety of events, concerts, exhibitions are regularly held in the mud, and a popular Latgalian group “Dabasu Durovys”, a youth group “peppermint” from Ilūkstes, a group of young people in the red hall of the new fiano concert, Raitis Kspirka, was able to listen to the popular Latgalian group “Dabasu Durovys”.
The guests also participated in the masterpieces, which were chaired by Evalds Vasilevskis, the Svetlana Mikanova of the Latvian People's Sports Association. Students and artist agra Ritina of Rezekne's art and design secondary school led the painting masterclass, while Valentina Svarinska, the parish of Griškānu, was allowed to look at the world of medicine - co-tasting not only drug tea but wedding the carpets of medicine. Visitors could also try hand-to-hand shooting.
In the afternoon, the guests had a chance to take part in the soup, and all day there was an excursion on the Manor and Manor Park.
Ayla and Artis had traveled to Luznavu from Gulbene. They read the information on the Facebook.com network, so they decided to colorate the rainy Saturday with a VISIT to Lūznavas manor, and donated blood -- Ayla's second, Artis first. The young people were delighted about the wonderful renovated manor building, the exhibitions, as well as the excursion on the park.
As the press secretary of the National Centre for Blood Donors Zane Mousavi informed, thanks to the supporters “beans bag”, the excellent buttock was blended by donor Indra Gailīte from Rezekne.
The event AT Lūznavas in Manor was dedicated to the world blood donor day, which is celebrated worldwide on 14 June. On this day, all the world wants to thank blood donors for saving lives, emphasising the importance of life and calling on people to join the donor movement.
The World War Day has been celebrated since 2004 with the aim of improving the safety of blood components in the world, contributing to a significant increase in the number of voluntary, non-compensation donors who donate blood regularly. The World Health Organisation has estimated that only 62 countries in the world are able to provide their blood stocks through voluntary, non-compensation blood donors.
The world's blood-donor day is celebrated on 14 June, the birthday of the Austrian doctor Karl Landsteiner. In 1901, Carl Landshiner discovered the first three human blood groups – A, B and O. Landshiner are also regarded as the most important scientists in the field of blood transfusion, as he had participated in the detection of the scar factor and its incompatibilities and developed a blood compatibility system. In 1930, Karl Landshiner received the Nobel Prize for his discoveries.
In order to ensure a stable blood stock in the national blood donor centre, at least 150 people should be donated every day. In Latvia, the donor movement has focused around 1.7 % people who donate blood on a non-regular basis, so the blood doses collected occasionally do not reach even half of the required security, which in turn, as the hospital demand increases, may lead to limiting the service of individual blood groups to hospitals.
As Zane Mousavi emphasised, the national blood donation centre invites donors to be particularly responsive before long Jāņu holidays and think about the people whose blood donations will be necessary: the blood doses donated by four donors are needed at the abdominal surgery, at least 20 blood donations donated by the autocrash, at a large burn of 65 donor blood doses, and in the case of blood cancer, at least 250 blood doses are used throughout the treatment process.
Currently, the country's blood donation centre is particularly awaiting the negative and B-scar negative blood-group donors.
It is reminded that a passport or ID card and bank account number should be taken to donate blood.
You can also sign up for blood donation on the Internet, website www.donors.lv completing the donor questionnaire. Similarly, the homepage contains the closest exits, the places of donation throughout Latvia and the frequently asked questions regarding blood donation.
