Available EU funds funding for the provision of services to children with functional disabilities and their families

Children with disabilities with disabilities will have access to community-based social services for improving social skills and functional capabilities. For this purpose, more than eur 4.2 million are foreseen for the implementation of the European Social Fund (ESF) projects.
Project promoters – associations or foundations – will have up to 206 750 euros to organise support measures for children with functional disorders and their families. These include social rehabilitation, day-to-day care and “relaxation times” or temporary day-to-day social care services. Similarly, in the framework of the project, funding is intended for the purchase of material technical support and the training of specialists for the provision of services. It is foreseen that in the framework OF THE EU funds programme, the support measures will be eligible for 1300 children with functional disabilities.
The Central Finance and Contract Agency (CFLA) shall accept applications for projects and foundations in the open selection of projects from this year 30 December to 2 March 2020. Project application selection rules, forms and other useful information available ON THE CFLA website.
Nearly five million euro is foreseen for the IMPLEMENTATION of the objectives of the programme as a whole, with the remaining funding of eur 3,1 million available in the second selection. The eligible costs OF projects IN the amount OF 85% will be covered by THE ESF while 15% from the State budget.
Support for the provision of social services is provided for in the specific support objective of the operational programme “Growth and Employment” of 9.2.2. “to increase the accessibility of quality institutional care in the residence of alternative social services and the accessibility of services for families with disabilities and children” within the framework of measure 9.2.2.3 “Provision of community-based social services”. In the framework of the first selection of projects: 14 projects, providing support for children with functional disorders and their families.
