Available funding for the organisation of environmental education camps for school-age children
A project competition is announced for the “responsible lifestyle” activity in activity “organisation of environmental education camps for school-age children” for funding in 2015.
The Latvian Environmental Protection Fund (LVAF) administration, in accordance with the decision of the Latvian Environment Protection Fund Council of 15 December 2014 No. 18, announces the project competition I card guidelines “responsible lifestyle” in activity “organisation of environmental education camps for school-age children” in 2015. The aim of the project competition is to financially support projects which promote the education and education of children of the school age.
The project contest supports the organisation of daily or daily environmental education camps for school-age children, including children with special needs aimed at promoting awareness of the environment and nature, its problems and motivating active activities in environmental protection where at least 50% of the contact activities are devoted to topics related to environmental and nature conservation and resource saving.
The project applicant may be a association or foundation registered in the Republic of Latvia, local government and private educational institutions registered in the register of educational institutions.
The funding available in the competition from the funds of the Fund shall be: EUR 80 000.
Deadline for submission of project applications: January 19, 2015 – January 30, 2015.
The project submission, in accordance with the requirements of the tender regulations, shall be submitted to the administration of the Latvian Environmental Protection Fund (Riga, export street 5, LV-1010) in personal working days from at noon. 9:00 to 17:00, by registered mail by post or in electronic form.
The by-laws of the project tender and its annexes shall be electronically available on the website of the Administration of the Latvian Environment Protection Fund Administration www.lvafa.gov.lv in the section: “Project competitions”, “project tender rules”.
