Porridge Day IN THE parish library OF Dricānu

On October 10, the world is celebrated in the world, when festivals are celebrated in many places in the world and also in Latvia, one of the oldest meals that have remained today. For the day of honour, October is declared a month in Latvia. The day of the day was dedicated to the children of the creative workshop Dricānu pre-school education institution (PII). The event was held AT Dricānu library premises, the library manager Ineta Velicko and Dricānu PII teacher, under the direction of Lidia Elsa and Biruta Bikovskaya.
During the event, children were studying and aware of some grain growing in Latvia, which is derived from them and many other interesting things. The kids learned how healthy they were. We talked about the children's favorite, favorite guys. It turns out to be a porridge of manna, rice, buckwheat and oat flakes.
The children actively engaged in the activities of the creative workshop – painted paper bowls, “filled” their bowls with the help of various groats.
