“For festivals, for people and for bread” – a 40-year anniversary event was held on 20 April. For the festival, because the People's House is a place where people have been sitting on a festive occasion, for people, because without them, the People's House would be empty, and the bread, because in the Raters, for several decades, the baking of bread is just like a business card.

Through photographs and memories, the photographs and memories had a unique opportunity to look into the history of the cariors' cultural life. As the predecessor of the People's House was too obsolete to rebuild it, at the beginning of the seventies, it was decided to build a new People's House at the meeting of the board of the soldiers named Chapaev. Similarly, as a predecessor, the new project was designed to be a small – one-storey building with four rooms, however, the current Chairman of the kolhoza, Ernest KCo., increased the project on all sides, the board approved it, and in the spring of 1973 there was a dancing of Chapaev Club. The new and energetic Lubova Vasilieva, whose established traditions – childhood festival, harvest festival and other events – continue to work as the leader of the club. A year later, when Lubow Vasilieva changed his place of residence, Liddy Kapath, head of the charter library, took care of the cultural life. At this time, Chapaev's club parties also began playing the musical association “KAVES”, which included Konstantin Belov, Ivan Belov, Erik Malisevs, Stanislavs Cipruss and others. It should be noted that Stanislav Cipruss also took over the duties of the Head of the People's House in March 1975. In 1984, following the technicality of cultural workers in Riga, Sarmite Kalvāne began work. She told me she still remembered her first organised event on 8 March: “I was taught in the technique that no more attention had to be paid to the praise of the Soviet Union, so i also started the event without a routine report. It was immediately noticed by the party secretary, and i was stunned. 'From 1987 he was employed by Ludmila Ribakov, then by Inga Vazneikova. At the beginning of the nineties, with the collapse of Soviet Union, there was a decline in the cultural life of the wheelchairs, and it was closed around 1994. For seven years, the only activity in the cultural house was the discovery. At this time, Natalie Belov was supervised by the dancers.

In spring 2001, when a pre-school teacher, Jershaw, began working in the wheelhouse, the cultural life in the village was born. “The beginning was hard,” she says. “The floor of the floor was rotting, two round ovens couldn't warm up the room, the windows barely held in the columns, and there was no sound hardware.” In the 12 years of work, vija Jershaw has done much, which is evidenced by not only the organized People's House and the frequent events that gather the hundreds of viewers, but also the fact that the majority of the local population is involved in self-activity. Folklore set, two rhythm dance groups, exotic dance group, children and adult dramatic collections – In Ratics, anyone can find how to spend evenings. “Bar ensemble will begin to work very soon,” says the leader of the People's House.

The performance of self-employed workers could also be assessed in the anniversary. Similarly, the gifts were performed BY Mākoņkalna folklore set, the line-dance group Lucky, the self-employed of THE Čornajas cultural house, as well AS Kaunatas and Griškānu dancers. There was also a local company, SIA “Edgars” and “SIA velte-L”, members of the association “today – tomorrow”, Čornajas parish council, Čornajas parish management head Oļegs Kvitkovskis, as well as the head of the cultural division of Rezekne, Inara Pleikšne, who said the ability of the People's House to maintain traditions and involve more people in self-action. “The cultural life in Ratics does not stay from the centres of great parish,” said Inara Pleikšne, giving the opinion of the municipality of Jersey Rēzekne on the contribution to the development OF THE cultural life OF Čornajas parish. The People's House and its leader were both “hundreds of times in 40” and “so far as light from the windows of the cultural house” and “to be creative people who are enthusiasm based on the People's House”. And the main thing is to keep the audience full, because, as she says, only to see the smiles of the viewers and hear the applause, her heart is cheerful.
