Reconstruction works in Rezekne municipality in secondary schools continue

Since the beginning of 2014, the development of the “Rēzekne District Municipal Secondary School Infrastructure” is a reconstruction work IN Nautrēnu, Kaunatas and Dricānu in secondary schools. The aim of the project is to improve the availability of public services in the municipality of Rezekne, building the links of general secondary education with the development of entrepreneurship. Within the framework of the School Infrastructure Project, it is planned to create four educational business contact points in the development centres: Maltā, Kaunatā, Dricans and Nautriene, as well as to adapt the premises for the establishment of educational establishments of pupils.
THE SIA “Asko AS” is performed by SIA “Asko AS” in Kaunatas secondary school sports hall reconstruction and internship building. By May, almost all engineering communications have been installed during the relevant period of time, the roof reconstruction has been performed and the internal heating of the premises has been commenced.
Nautrēnu secondary school buildings, reconstruction works of the service hotel building are performed by the general company “Latgale building”. During the period of operation of the contract, a new roof was built for the hotel building of the secondary school service, new sewerage and water-operated networks, reconstruction works of toilets and shower rooms started in the school building, and the reconstruction works of the school street (0.3 km) were also launched.
Dricānu high school buildings, renovation works of premises, including construction of new floors and bulkheads. It should be noted that THE costs and volumes of Dricānu secondary and boiler house reconstruction work are higher, compared to those to be performed at Nautrēnu and Kaunatas parish sites. Contract for THE reconstruction works of THE Dricānu secondary school and boiler house is concluded with SIA “Construction Production No. 5”
Construction works are coordinated with school management in order to ensure smooth running of the learning process. The heating season has ended, so it will also be possible to perform the planned reconstruction work of the school boiler houses and heating systems. According to the works contracts concluded, the deadline for completion of reconstruction works is 30 October 2014.
As a result of the complaints submitted by the applicants, the closure of the construction contract for the SECONDARY reconstruction works OF Maltas is delayed. Open competition (above EU threshold) “Rēzekne District Maltas Secondary School Reconstruction” ID No. RNP 2013/17 was announced on 26 September 2013, the course of which, in the course of the course of the proceedings, submitted applications for a contestation of the results from the applicant's procurement supervisor. In accordance with the examination of the submissions of the Procurement Monitoring Bureau, the Commission's decision of 16 May 2014 is prohibited from entering into a contract with the selected tenderer, requesting the commissioning party to re-evaluate the tenders submitted.
In accordance with the agreement concluded on 18 December 2013 between the municipality of Rezekne and the State Regional Development Agency regarding the implementation of the European Union Fund project, which provides for the implementation of the “Secondary School Infrastructure Development” project of the municipality of Rezekne, the eligible costs of the total project are EUR 11 516 046,71, including ERDF co-financing OF EUR 6 308 968 (54,781 TP1T), State budget grant OF EUR 431 851 (3,751 TP1T) and part of municipal financing – EUR 4 775 226,88 (41,471 TP1T) of total eligible costs.
For the 1 st quarter of 2014, the first payment request has been submitted to the national regional development agency and received from THE ERDF and State grant funds also the first repayment amount of eur 493 178.07, which will be used to ensure the progress of the activities planned for the future project.
