Rēzekne-closed CSDD new bicycle race

Yesterday, on May 25, Rēzekne held a CSDD “Forum of new traffic participants” at the 29 th and 30 th stages of the first round competition, in which young cyclists from the city of Rezekne, Rezekne and Viļānu were fought.
In these competitions, the Rēzekne municipality was represented BY Bērzgales secondary school unit and Gaigalavas primary school, but from Viļāniem and Viļānu, the CSDD in the new cyclists competitions took part IN Viļānu secondary school and the Declar primary school. In a competition of four teams, 693 points and the first place were won by the team “Bērzgale” from Bērzgales primary school IN Nautrēnu secondary school. It was composed of Victoria Zuckov, Laura Lucatnik, Anna Tripane, Elmar Kurdeko, Edward Ranan, Ralph Copel and teachers, Oļegs Zukov and Irina Zukova. Sophie Mazloboyeva was the strongest in the individual competitions.

In the second round of the Rēzekne city “new traffic participants forum”, the Latvian final will participate in the 5 th secondary school of Rezekne “Smile face”: Raivis Klapins, Rolands Sangovičs, Rudolf Zagorsky, Annie Carklence, Grieta Anchupāne, League Lāce and teacher Ivars Silickis.
Students attested their theoretical knowledge of road traffic regulations, first aid, bicycle technical design, and they had to perform two traces.
Total results — City of Rezekne:

  • 1 st place for the Smile face command from Rēzekne 5 th High School; 525 points;
  • 2 nd place for the team “formula” from Rezekne High School 2; 390 points;
  • 3 rd place for the “X First” team from Rezekne 5 th High School; 362 points.

Total results — Rezekne, Viļānu municipality:

  • 1 st place for team “Bērzgale” from Bērzgales primary school Nautrēnu secondary school units; 693 points;
  • 2 nd place for the “Gaigalava” team from Gaigalavas primary school; 477 points;
  • 3 rd place for the team “boiling” from Viļānu secondary school; 423 points;
  • 4 th place for the “cyclists” team from the Declar School of Decissaries; 242 points.

THE “new traffic participants forum” IN THE CSDD is organised by THE CSDD throughout Latvia for 22 years to attract new road users on road safety and to promote safety on roads. The competition, as usual, takes place in three stages, the first of them in various regions of Latvia from April 10 to May 27. The final match was scheduled for Wednesday 27 May, at 11:00, Gulbenes City stadium, invited school teams from Gulbene City and municipality.
The second round of the “new traffic participants Forum 2015” – Latvian final is scheduled for 5-6 June and will participate in the teams that have won the highest rating in the first round matches of their region. On the other hand, the third round will take place in Austria, Vienna, from 3 to 6 September, in which the Latvian final team will participate.
In order to become participants, students must be born in 2003-2005, create a team of six people, three girls, and three boys, the name of the team, and on the website the electronic application form must be completed. The team's participation in competitions should be coordinated with the teacher or other adult and the competitions must be accompanied by a signed school confirmation of the participation of the team and pupils in the new traffic participants forum. Each team is accompanied by one or two adults – teachers or parents.

The new traffic participants forum shall be organised BY THE CSDD, the CSDD shall cooperate with the national educational content centre, which is a partner of THE CSDD educational projects for several years. The competition is carried out by the association “for strong Latvia”, they are financed from OCTA funds, but are supported by the Latvian Automoted Society and the Emergency Medical Service (NMPD).
