Rezekne's 2014 championship at the table tennis

On January 4, an open championship at a table tennis was held at the Tiskada High School sports hall. 22 participants from Rezekne municipality, Rezekne, Daugavpils, Kraslava, Aglona, Ludza and Riga participated in these competitions. In order to facilitate the course of the competition, it was decided that men and women would play together because the sporting level allowed it. The participants were divided into four sub-groups, where the first to fourth winners of the subgroups formed a finalisation group from 16 participants, where the Olympic system struggled for champion titles as women and men in nominations.
On the other hand, the fifth and sixth-place winners struggled between 17 and 23.
Kharald Fiodorov (Rēzekne), 2 nd place in Jurijs Šmagra (Daugavpils), 3 rd place Eduards Stefanovich (Daugavpils), became the lead champion in the men's group. In the women's group: 1 st place in Jozepson (Riga), 2 nd place in Liana Zelina (Kaunata), 3 rd place Vera Gurtajute (Daugavpils). The best tennis lawyer of Rezekne is Juris Zeltins, but Vilis Dzalbs became the winner of the celebration tournament.
