Rēzekne is a day in Kaunas – we go to our parish, we're our own.

On the morning of July 18, the Kaunas village began very busy and the day promised to be intense, creative and surprising.
A day event was discovered in the Rēzekne District. The head of the Kaunatas parish association Janis Alexanis and the head of the Kaunatas parish administration, Sergei Bashmakov, spoke. In his speech, the leaders emphasized that the highest value of our county and parish is the people who confirm this. The attendants were celebrated in festivals and the operation could begin.
In keeping with all the restrictions laid down in the Covic-19 period, the study of the European Direct Information Centre in Eastern Latgale and the co-ordinator of the co-ordinators of the Rēzekne Technology Academy, jointly organised by researchers of the Rēzekne Technology Academy, “healthy diet in the kitchen of modern European people, remain in the fields of traditional farming skills”. The honey was built in that honour - honey, combining it with modern technology - lyophilised additives. The honey was offered by Kaunata beekeeper Gunta Silkāne, who had recently purchased the facility to give consumers a new product-foam honey. In order to make the honey taste even more interesting, the food processing laboratory of the Rēzekne Technology Academy combined the foam honey with lyophilised additives. The cooking process was shown in the culinary classroom, with honey with cranberries being offered to each visitor. The participants of the event acknowledged that the new product had managed to be interesting enough, even for those who did not taste the honey. Similarly, the guests admitted that this type of product could become an interesting Souvenir of Rezekne.
Similarly, a caramel on a tree and a batton made from hemp was added to the masterclass bench. It was offered by Obelisk Farm from Viļānu to decks.
The members of the culinary masters were actively debating honey with additives, as well as participating in the competition for the European Union. The Kaunatians and parish guests were strong enough, so the majority received the winners of the Europe Direct Information Centre in Eastern Latgale.

Following the opening of the event, the newest football club matches involving Ludza, Rezekne and Kaunas football teams began. Thank Kaunatas parish sports organizer Peter Kablanov.
Kaunatas youth centre sails and Kaunas 1 st Library took care of the activities for the smallest visitors of the event. By doing seven different tasks, there was a chance to win a surprise prize. The most recent participants of the event jumped with a bag, played Florball, fished and bowled. By collecting seven different stamps on the work, the prize was also received. There was also a chance to play the garden games and leave the drawings on the asphalt. Thank the Head of the Kaunatas Youth Centre for Tamara Kablanova and the Kaunas 1 st Library Leader Regina Kablanova.
Vitalijs Grisunov, Imants Zagorskis, Inguss Sutin, and Valerijs Spruchts were the musical surprise of the event.
Unfortunately, due to restrictions, there was no traditional Ilya fair in Kaunas, but there was an exhibition of local craftsmen and domestic producers. The local people were pleased with their work, and they could see the works of the pearls, the wood products, the various needles and the tampering, the embroidery and the floristic works, the dreams, the sauna brooms, and the various other interesting works. In the event of the event, an exhibition was created for the honour - moto - car Retro. The exhibition exhibited a wide variety of techniques - even from 1940 - a military bicycle produced in Italy and modern bicycles. It was also possible to look at various motorcycles and mopeds, with some even being able to escape. There were also a few cars in the exhibition where there was a chance to get into the driver's role, thank the participants of the exhibition and the leader of the Kaunas People's House folklore group Sandra Viao.
An exhibition of sewing machines was created with creative approach, which could be seen from the oldest to modern sewing machines. The parish people had actively participated in the exhibition. There was also a masterpiece, presenting the advantages of modern sewing machines. Sandra sutina and alla Silva took part in the exhibition. A photo corner was also located next to the sewing machine. It was here that visitors had the opportunity to feel the role of the people of the people and the people of the people, drawing on the people's costumes. Thank the participants of the exhibition and the Kaunas People's House dance leader Allai Silovai and Janina Cairiah.
A musical greeting from the vald and Normund Schtekee came to the people of Kaunatas parish in the evening of the festival.
