Plan of the work organisation of the Rēzekne District Office during the emergency situation

The Registrar of Rezekne shall continue to work at the time of the emergency. The Head of Unit Maria Decsne shall be informed of the working time in which the services of the General Registry Office are available.

  • Monday - 8.00-16.30
  • Tuesday 8.00-16.30
  • Wednesday - 8.00-11.45
  • Thursday - 8.00-11.45
  • Friday - the reception of visitors is not performed.

During the rest of the time, visitors can turn to the Rēzekne General Registry office, located at the premises of Latgale Embassy “Gors” in Castle Street 4, Rezekne.
Reception of Visitors of the Rēzekne City Registry Office:

  • Monday - 8.30-17.00
  • Tuesday - 8.30-13.00
  • Wednesday - 9.00-17.00
  • Thursday-13.00-17.00
  • Friday - 9.00-15.00
  • Lunch break-12.00-12.30

On the basis of the amendments of 29 March 2020 to Cabinet Order No. 103 of 12 March 2020, regarding the announcement of emergency situation, any private measures, except for the holding of funeral ceremonies in external premises, shall be prohibited, if the mutual two-meter distance between persons and other epidemiological safety regulations are observed;
At the same time, in view of the fact that the Ministry of Justice is carrying out the methodological management and supervision of the General Registry Offices in the field of registration of civil status documents, the General Registry Department of the Ministry of Justice has called on the General Registry Office to provide persons of special importance during the emergency situation – the registration of the fact of birth and death. For reasons of security, the registration of the fact of marriage takes place only in the presence of two adult witnesses without guests.
