The municipality of Rezekne conducts a secondary school reconstruction project

During the 2013 end of 2013, the municipality of Rezekne launched project No 3DP/3 .6 .2 .1 .0/13/IPIA/VRAA/010 “Development of secondary school infrastructure of the municipality of Rezekne”, including secondary school reconstruction works in four provincial development centres – in Nautriene, Dricans, Kaunas and Malta. Construction works in accordance with the planned time schedule and construction contracts concluded in Nautrene, Dricana and Kaunas sites are completed by 1 November 2014.

In connection with the complaints submitted by tenderers in the procurement supervisor, the closure of the contract to the reconstruction works of Malta was delayed. In the framework of a closed construction contract, the reconstruction of the Corps 1 st building of the Maltese Secondary School, the simplified reconstruction work of the building block 2, as well as the reconstruction and improvement works of the school sports stadium, SIA “RBSSKALS construction company”, is planned to be completed by the end of June. In parallel with the reconstruction works of buildings, the improvement of the territory – paving of the sidewalks and the construction of parking areas is also intensified. The reconstruction of the total infrastructure of the Maltese secondary school in accordance with the works contract must be completed by 22 November.

Darbi Maltas vidusskolāIn the course of the reconstruction work of the School Corps, unforeseen works have arisen which, according to the Public Procurement Law, have been submitted to the Procurement Monitoring Bureau (IUB) for the application of the negotiated procedure and received from THE IUB agreement. The negotiated procedure has resulted in a contract for the execution of non-scheduled works by 30 June 2015. The information and supporting documents regarding the unforeseen works and the conduct of the negotiation procedure have been submitted to the national regional development agency, as well as a request to allow the costs of unforeseen works to be covered by the part of the eligible cost savings planned in the project.

Project funding sources: co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund: 54,781 TP1T; State budget grant: 3,751 TP1T and part of municipal financing: 41,471 TP1T of total eligible costs.
