The municipality of Rezekne has implemented the project “Development of Razna Lake Fish Operation Regulations and Data Acquisition”

On 25 April 2018, the Council meeting of the Fish Fund Council supported the project “Developing the rules for the exploitation of Razna lake fisheries and the collection of data” for a total amount OF EUR 4000,00 (the funding of the fish fund EUR 2860,00, the co-financing of the municipal co-financing OF EUR 1040,00 and the co-financing of the Razna National Park Society of 100,00 EURO).
Development of the rules for the exploitation of fish in the framework of the project and the acquisition of data in order to be able to implement the project “Razna lake fisheries characterisation and recommendations for the further management of lake resources” in 2019 (including an analysis of eel stocks).
The development and data mining of Razna lake fisheries was carried out by the Scientific Institute for Food Safety, Animal Health and the Environment “BIOR”.
