Education

Every year, J. Kco's Sakstagala primary school pupils participate in various visual art competitions. This year, with great interest, we participated IN THE visual and visual plastic art competition “three-nine solar jumps” launched BY VISC, studying the ornaments of European Union countries and comparing them with the Latvian sun mark – our sunshine. 11 pupils participated in the Rēzekne municipality exhibition from our school. Ten workshops were placed on the 2 nd round of the Latgale competition and placed at the exhibition in the Eastern Latvian creative service centre “Zeimuļs”.
All the participants of the exhibition were invited to the creative day in Rezekne, so our pupils Arina Cole, Ilze Asache, Alice Kitova, Gunita Meško, Agnese Stafecka, Beatrice Tutin, Cynthia Onujāne, Baiba Tutin, Karina Vasiljeva and Zane Ingulevica went to Zeimuli. We looked at the lovely exhibition, took part in the creative workshops where we learned to make butterflies, candy flowers, paper hat, and other nice jobs. We visited Latgale's cultural history museum that day, where we found the closest art. In Rēzekne's art and design secondary school we saw how big artists work and how a real painting looks and smells. We found that “Zeimuel” was a very interesting playground with a wooden horse, where some also managed to climb. We enjoyed the final event of the exhibition. We were tired in the afternoon, but very pleased and happy about this day!
