First week of the Rezekne municipality
This Saturday, July 9, with fishermen's day and fishing competitions, water attractions and sporting activities begin the days of Rezekne. The festival will continue throughout the week – until July 16, when a large number of day-to-day events will be held in the Anchupan cartodrome with the performances of the People's art collective and the concert of the popular music groups. Each of eight holidays will reflect different thematic shades.
On July 9, the main event of the fishermen's day – “Fisher Day Sports Festival” - will be held in Nagles. Angling competitions and thematic exhibitions are also planned in other municipality parishes.
Sunday, July 10 - Family Day. It will be devoted to strengthening family values in society. A broad event will take place in Berzgale. As part of this, family service is planned, creative workshops, sporting activities, concert, various surprises, the exhibition of children's drawings, and the summoning of the most conspicuous, talented, most helpful, selfish and most powerful families. In other parish families, the family will learn to form a tribe, participate in family debts, study theatrical behaviours, play in a badminton tournament, and participate in various other activities.
For a moment, turning life into a theatre and enjoying luxurious flowers, photographs, and handwriting exhibitions will be available on July 11, when there will be a theatre and exhibition day in the municipality. A wide range of events is planned FOR Maltas and Nautrēnu parishes, but the exhibitions of local amateurs and artists will also be seen in other locations.
July 12 - Sport Day - will be devoted to various sporting activities. The sports festival of the Rēzekne municipality and local government employees will be held IN Maltā. Teams in 6 – 8 people will compete in football, quartile, volleyball, rope towing and other disciplines. On the other hand, all those who like azarts and healthy lifestyles are invited to take part in a run up to THE summit OF Mākoņkalna. The quickest runner and runner will have to share money.
Creative thoughts in self-created works will be able to be expressed on the day of the crafts and art on 13 July, when the parish-day visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the creative workshops and learn to tear, crochet, Pete baskets, explore the world of clay and the skills of the jewels. The workshop doors were open to visitors, the weavers, the wood turnip, and the leather workshop. The central event of this day – the removal of ceramic biscuit in the Snislava Vilnius workshop “Cukrasata”.
July 14 will be a field day. Throughout the day, it will be possible to familiarise themselves with the work process in various establishments in Rezekne, to visit farms and to “try hand” in sheep felling and other rural areas. This day will also take place in the annual “Rural Day” organised by the “Latgale Agricultural Science Centre” in collaboration with the municipality of Rezekne. As part of this, farmers and rural entrepreneurs will be able to acquaint themselves with the latest developments in the cultivation of arable crops, to obtain information about innovations in the field of plant protection products and fertilizers, as well as to observe technical demonstrations.
In many and a variety of interesting activities, young people will be able to participate in the 15 July Youth Day. As of 13.00, all are invited to the event at Anchupan Kartadroma, where there will be a conflict, quasi-drinking and eating competition, a concert of the new pop-Rock groups, as well as a big evening concert with a group such as Musiqq, “no VAT”, “Sovskis”, “Green Novice”, “cramp” and “out of Horizon”. Dance DJ is planned until morning light. Recreational activities, concerts and shows will also take place in parish youth, while various exhibitions related to the theme of youth and its topical problems will be held in libraries.
July 16 - Day of song and dance. The Great Rēzekne Municipality Day event, like the youth day, will be held in Anchupan Kartodroma. Already from 12.00 will be able to buy something useful in a craftsman market but at noon 13.00 The festival concerts will begin with the artistic self-activity of children and young people. In the children's and young people's concert, a group of children from Rezekne, Maltas, Dricānu, Lendžu, Vērēmu, Bērzgales, Stoļerovas parish, guest pupils from Ludza “spices” and “Cielavs”, as well AS TV children's show “little songs for Latvia” won Valerija Satibaldijeva. In the course of the evening, it will be possible to assess the performances of the local people's art collective – choir, folklore ensemble, People's dance collective, blower orchestra -, a guest schoolboy from Belarus Postavi district and Lithuanian Kupiiski District, as well as enjoying Eriņa and Ushani families, Laura Reinica, the music group “patrioti.” “LG”, “Latgale lady Pops” and “transit” performances.
