Seminar on the production of table and processed potatoes

SIA “Latvian Centre for Rural Consultation and Education” is organising a free educational seminar on the production of table and processing potatoes within the framework of national rural network activities. The seminar will be held on 11 November at 10.00 Rēzekne, garden street 7a, seminar hall.
In SIA “Latvian Centre for Rural Consultation and Education”, the senior specialist in horticulture, Māris Narvils, will tell about the agrotechnics of potatoes – the choice of varieties, fertilisation, plant change, pests and their restriction possibilities in the potato plantation. The specialist will inform the manufacturer of the technique necessary for the production of potatoes and how to properly carry out harvesting and storage. The quality assurance of potatoes will also be discussed, as well as the opportunities for marketing and marketing activities for the promotion of the market in Latvia.
Maris Narvils will also share the experience of his experiment – how many potato yields can be obtained during one year.
