Seminar on the management of manure storage

SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” Rēzekne Division organizes a free informative seminar “environmentally friendly management methods” within the framework of national rural network activities. The seminar will be held on 1 December of that year at 10.00 Rēzekne, garden street 7a, seminar hall.
Cabinet Regulation No. 829 of 23 December 2014, “Special requirements for the performance of polluting activities in animal housing”, defines the conditions and time periods to be observed by herd owners regarding the management of manure. As regards those provisions, it should be recalled that the requirements apply to all farmers holding farm animals. There are only differences in conditions and deadlines, depending on the number of animal units in the holding.
At the time of the seminar, the National Environmental Service Rēzekne regional environmental management specialists will inform the polluting activities requiring category C authorisation, the requirements and time-limits for storage and storage of manure at sites and non-animal housing, monitoring and the most characteristic errors in the holdings. Similarly, THE business advisor of THE Rēzekne division OF Latvia's Rural Consultation and Education Centre will inform regarding the conditions for the preparation of project applications for the measure “investments in tangible assets” for the construction or reconstruction of manure storage.
