Silmalas parish Krukos is implementing a water management development project

As of September 2, 2013, the MUNICIPALITY OF Rēzekne Municipality Silmalas parish administration began implementing THE ERDF project “development of water management in Rēzekne Municipality Silmalas parish Kruku village”.

The project will reconstruct: drilling, water tower, water debris building, water supply networks for 2021 metres, sewerage networks (621 metres), pressure vessels (133 metres) and built new treatment plants and sewerage pump stations. THE estimated duration of THE ERDF project is 11 months.

Construction works at the facility are performed BY SIA “ASE” from Smiltenes. The construction of the project is ensured BY THE “environment and construction” OF SIA from Riga. The authoring services of the water-holding project are provided by the project author – SIA “Engineering Group” from Jelgava. Construction works were launched in the month of March 2014 and planned to be completed in July of that year.

As a result of the implementation of the project, it is planned to achieve the objective of the project: to ensure the supply of drinking water in the village of Kruku, where 350 people live, the supply of drinking water compatible WITH EU directives and the requirements of Latvian regulatory enactments, reduce environmental pollution and ensure efficient use of natural and energy resources.

The total estimated amount of the project is 531 179.67 EURO, including the eligible costs – 438 974.54 EURO, from which ERDF co-financing – 373 128.35 EURO or 85 % of eligible costs, other funds – parish government financing.
