Silmalas parish in Kruķos implementation of the water management project
As of 2 September 2013, Silmalas parish administration implements THE ERDF project “Development of water holdings in the municipality of Rēzekne Silmalas parish” (contract No 3DP/3 .4 .1 .1 .0/13/APIA/CFLA/005/004).
Within the framework of the project it is planned to reconstruct: drilling, water tower, water debris building, water supply networks for 2021 meters, sewerage networks for 621 meters, pressure pipelines for 133 metres, as well as building new treatment plants and sewerage pump station. Silmalas parish management has developed a reconstruction technical project according to which water management development works will be performed. THE estimated duration of THE ERDF project is 11 months.
The necessary procurement procedures were carried out and the organisations that would carry out the construction and construction supervision were established. Construction works, according to the results of an open competition, will be performed BY SIA “ASE” from Smiltenes (head of construction work Andris Lanka (tel. 29487277)). The construction of the project, according to the results of procurement, will be ensured BY THE “environment and construction” OF SIA from Riga. The authoring services of the water-holding project will be provided by the project author – SIA “Engineering Group” from Jelgava. Construction works will be started when weather conditions are allowed.
As a result of the implementation of the project, it is planned to achieve the objective of the project: to ensure the supply of drinking water to the European Union directives and the requirements of Latvian regulatory enactments and the safety of water management, reduce environmental pollution and ensure efficient use of natural and energy resources.
Total estimated amount of the project: EUR 531 179.67, including eligible costs: EUR 438 974,54; ERDF co-financing: 85% of eligible costs or EUR 373 128.35; parish management funding is 15% of eligible costs or EUR 65 846,19.
