School song and dance day in Vilnius

On May 31, Rēzekne and Viļānu members of the People's dance, choir, vocal ensembles and folklore clusters gathered on the beach island to unite the colorful dance and song festival “coloured dreams”.
The event included collectively from Kaunatas High School, New Virgin Schools, Dricānu Secondary Schools, Nautrēnu High Schools, Feimaņu primary schools, liepu primary schools, Rēzna elementary schools, Maltas secondary schools, Lucia Rananes McKashan High Schools, Sakstagala J. Kashan elementary schools, Sakstagala J. Kind High School, AND People's House.
Although the day was cloudy and flashing, it was filled with attempts to prepare for the concert, with the creative workshops in which children could creatively express themselves and get their dreams into different colored, self-made things. Creative workshops provided Maltas for children and youth centre and Viļānu secondary school teachers. On the other hand, SIA Riga's dairy farmer had prepared a delicious surprise – ice cream – for all festival participants.
As the concert began, the rain grew stronger and the festival had to be stopped. However, the children's smiles grew wider and the joy glistened.
