The Family Family – “Active Family 2017”

The Gunta and Ulda Spike family are one of the most active families IN THE parish OF Gaigalavas. Uldis and Gunta married in August 2001, even though they had been a good time before, a son, Imants, was born in December. The birth of his son and his daughter, Eve, did not prevent Gunta from active in public life, as there was a strong assistant and a supporter, Uldis.
Gunta was born and raised IN Gaigalavas parish. All the years spent were also in Gaigalava. The school years had an active member of the folklore “Purineņš”. With the show “Skroderday Silmachos”, Gunta started her actress career in the amateur theatre “Bykovi” and continues to play various roles for 23 years. She was a source of inspiration for her daughter's name. Gunta was dancing for seven years in the dance group Raffaello. “Raffaello” is the whole of Latgale, a variety of festivals are celebrated. For approximately 20 years, Gunta is the “restlessness” of the Catholic Catholic Church of Bikova, because of the order of the festive procession.
The other troubleshooter in the family is the son Imants. From the first class, he had participated in various polls of interest: folklore together “Purineņš”, theatre sport, dramatic group, dance collective, other creative significance in clusters. The manager of the teacher Rasma Igaune - the leader of the folklore “Purineņš” has helped to involve various folklore-related events, competitions: a dance competition for “vedam danci”, where high titles, a scale jump competitions, a musicist competition “Klaberjakte”, which won second and first seats, a singer competition where the 1 st degree in both the municipality and the country was acquired last year. In the storyteller's contest, “tech, tech language” is derived from the titles of the storyteller, participating in the folklore festival “pulse eim, pulse theatre”. Also in collaboration with the school ensemble, he participated in various competitions: “voices”, “copper talent”, obtaining both jury and viewer praise. Imants has won sympathic prizes in various nominations as a result of the individual performance of the competition “copper talent”. In the 2010 youth song and dance festival, Imants, together with the dance collective, represented Gaigalavas primary school colors. On the 2015 song and dance festival, they went along with the folklore “Purineņš”. In the presence of the dramatic collective bargaining competitions, different victories have been achieved. By participating in the improvisation group “Theatre sports”, the whole of Latvia, the 2 nd place in the country last year, has also been 3 rd place in the country, won victories and cups in various tournaments. With the work of the teacher Erika Bozovič and the help of the stage competition, the first place in both the municipality and the region was obtained. “Volyudzans” won second place in the stage competition. From class 2, Imant visited the music school where he finished his class. In self-training and with the help of teacher Raasmas, there is a variety of musical instruments - mandolin, acordeone, guitar, beating instruments, pill. In 2013, Latgale Embassy “Gors” was attended by the “Queen's daughter”. Participated in the activities of the organ music festival “organisms”. At the end of April of that year, “Francis” appeared on the stage of “Gora”, where Francis Trassu was born. Performing at the amateur theatre “Bykovites”, playing the cultural house at various events, has directed various events. Imanta hobby is a book reading and film watching.
The little girl is five years old this year, but she is already taking her first steps with her mother on the big SCENE of THE Gaigalavas cultural house. She also works at the theatre Gaigalavas in a pre-school educational institution. Of_course, that wouldn't happen if Dad Uldis had no support with his support. Although Uldis is working as a forest technician, Imanta has spent all years on the music school in Rezekne, as well as the attempts to “Gore”. He helped his wife, Gunta, arrange the flags for the procession. He had always seen her when Gunta visited the cultural house, danced, or played the theatre. Also helped with the preparation and placement of decorations in the amateur “Bykovi” shows.
This family is indeed the one who deserves recognition as a more active family because it is not even possible to list all the events they have taken, managed or simply supported. All the Gaigalava looks at them with admiration, as they do everything – both to participate and speak and to process their land. Gunta works at school, but in her spare time, she grows the garden and nurses her beloved flowers - Lily. A house is purchased near the Gaigalavas centre, which is gradually being restored. A genuine joy for this family is every Gaigalavas.
