Sports hour in museum

On 28 February, THE Audriņu primary school students of classes 7-9, along with a sports teacher, went to Latgale cultural history museum in Rezekne, where he was able to see a portrait gallery of Latvian sports veterans-seniors and Latvian sports museum specialists. It collects 100 photographs of all the most outstanding athletes and teams of Latvia with 170 personalities.
Students could not only look at the excellent Latvian sports portrait gallery, but also participate in the “sports hour” organised by museum employees. This hour passed in a fun and educational atmosphere. With several activities and competitions, students learned about Latvian sports legends, the variety of sports and their history, sports opportunities in the city of Rezekne and the importance of sport in human life. At the end, students could play a chess match at the real competition table and take a picture.
