Interdisciplinary training in primary school

From 7 February to 10 February, a project week was held at the primary school. The theme of the projects was “interdisciplinary learning”.
Pupils worked in 3 groups under the guidance of teachers. A very interesting work was the primary school pupil, led by Tatjana Guļbinska, Ludmila Vinogradova and Alina Kozireva. The group's theme was “water secrets”. Through interdisciplinary learning, pupils experimenting with water, looking for information in maps, peoples, the Internet, addressing tasks by drawing up, acquiring new knowledge of the subject subject. Students carried out research on “water quality and pollution” and experiments “or water is a form?” and “water and temperature”. The pupils prepared a “cloud of water” application, designed an afish “water travel in nature”, which collected and systematised the knowledge of water circling in nature. During this week, the primary school pupils created a mathematical order for water and volume and learned a new dance “Strautins”. The teacher, under the guidance of consultants, prepared a presentation on his work.
Primary school students were divided into two groups.
The theme of the first group projects was “trip around the world.” The children of Olga Raphah, Olga Isaina and Rita Korolakova met the English-speaking countries. Children studied Britain, USA, Australia, more learned about the symbolism of these countries, the natural wealth, the economy, the most significant tourism objects and the People's traditions. Students had the opportunity to develop English-speaking skills using Internet resources in English.
The second elementary school group had taken the theme of “ai, the animal, the animal, the animal was supposed to be.” Students worked with the goal - to know the events and traditions of Easter celebration in Latvia. Children made ornamental large-scale eggs in different techniques. They found, collected and created dough, beliefs in the people's songs about Easter, and they learned. The group prepared Easter dancers and toys. The group was led by Nellie Kotebo, Inara Blinov and Inese Kokorevich.
The ninth grassmen practiced the examination of exams. They had the ability to pass test mode exams that accurately reflect the format of a real exam, both at time and by procedure and content. Students experienced skills and experience in focusing on stress.
The project days passed in a favourable atmosphere, a positive, creative atmosphere.
On Friday, February 10, a weekly presentation of the projects was held, where students met their results. After the project week, the children had the opportunity to deal with the National Fire and Rescue Service Representative Pāvelu Vavilov. Pavel Vavilov told pupils about the work of the National Fire and Rescue Service and trained how to act in emergency situations.
