Technical innovation clusters at the Rēzekne Technology Academy
Also this year, the Rēzekne Technology Academy will open the door to the Rēzekne municipality students who want to operate in technical innovation clusters. For the first lesson on 3 November at 10.00 are invited to attend schools from the Rezekne municipality.
This year, from November to April, the Rezekne municipality will be able to attend the following education programmes:
1. “New programmers — create your own computer game” – in its context, students will be able to learn skills in programming by developing simple games with the Scratch programming volode; in the programme, the programming of racing, labyrinth, shooting, logical and other games;
2. “Design” – in the framework of the programme, it will be possible to acquire the first skills in design, work with different materials will be learned, interior design objects will be created, various design samples and magazines are developed;
3. “Robot” – a moving robots, more sophisticated design robots will be created during these sessions and robotic competitions will be organised;
4. “Big Bavaria” – food products, their impact on the organism will be investigated during the lesson, the pupils will be able to familiarise themselves with local traditional foods as well as try other countries' kitchens;
5. “Environmental intelligence” – in the framework of the programme, students will try to make a paper in house conditions, learn the basic principles of sorting of waste, create collages from natural materials, explore the Rēzekne river, as well as explain the human impact on the environment;
6. “Get to know your body” - at the time of the lessons, students will be familiar with and study their own body, as well as find out the basic principles for the provision of first aid.
