Father's Day in Dricans

Since September 2010, the second Sunday has officially become a father day in Latvia. In society, this day raises the question of the role of father in the family and the involvement of children. His father, like his mother, is an integral part of the child's life for a happy childhood.
For the first time this year, his father's day was celebrated IN THE parish OF Dricānu, where his parents, together with children, were invited to planting a tree as a symbol for stable and deep mutual relations and a sustainable contribution to the preservation of the environment. The second objective of the measure was to promote the public involvement of children and their parents in civil parish activities.
The event for fathers with children took place on 7 September. The trees were to be planted with both fathers and grandfathers, and Mom gathered a good time. More than 50 beans were planted together, which would continue to grow next to the emerging ework IN THE village OF Dricānu.
The number of participants who proves that modern families are aware of their father's role in the family and is willing to engage in this kind of event was the most welcome. This was the first, but not the last year of the celebration of Father's Day IN THE parish OF Dricānu, and will become a tradition, complementing the event with various joint activities. Together with several families, a common goal is a great feeling and motivation to continue this tradition.
