A 2017 championship of Rezekne was held in Tiskada High School sports hall.
On January 29, that year, a championship at a table tennis was held in Rwanda, Tiskad High School. 24 athletes from Rezekne municipality, Rezekne, Daugavpils and Kraslava participated in the competition. According to the number and age of participants, the championship takes a turn, it should be noted that the youngest participant, Ksenija Scherbacov/Ružina, was only 10 years old. The competition took place quickly and smoothly, because even at the time of the competition, the participants of the competition could also enjoy coffee with biscuits that had been made by the organisers of competition.
