Education

Without language we would be nothing,
Only the wind-flapping cloths.
Without content, opinion and feelings,
Generations of generations, at work.

The language month began with an English-language week. Everyone was invited to use English as far as possible in the learning process. It turns out that it is not so easy as the day-to-day communication process is much different from the language in individual learning processes. However, those who tried it also succeeded. Thank you for class 4 students who, speaking English, showed a lug about three sows and a wolf. Some students in Classes 2-6 counted poems as well as singing songs using toy elements. The event was prepared and directed by Ilona Butkāne, English-language teacher.
The language month ended with other interesting events. For the first time in the Latvian language week, the “anecdox virulence” was first held, in which the participants with a great sense of humor were able to laugh the listeners, telling funny and funny anecdotes. The jury's performance was rated with appropriate smiles.
Already a traditional school is a handwriting competition, which also took place during this week. First, each pupil had the opportunity to show his handwriting skills in his class, and only the best of each class participated in the final competition. “Julianna Sokolko (Class 2), Valeria Livkisha (Class 4), Arthur Arbidan (Class 6), Erica Katkovsky (class 8), was recognised as the most handsome handwriting of this year. The measures were prepared and conducted by the teacher Irene Batare and Inara Aminko.
The Russian language event, under the direction of teacher Jekaterina Gudkowa, had the opportunity not only to show the knowledge of his Russian language but also to learn to cooperate and, of course, make friends. The class 6 pupils had been transformed into the lives of Samuil Marsha's “kitty house” for live, attractive, sometimes ridiculous, even sad heroes. In this cloth, the author laughs the sculpture and foolishness, teaches goodness, responsiveness and help. The pupils were deeply enthusiastic in their roles and played with great enthusiasm and confidence.
The language during the month was particularly pleased by the pupils' responsiveness and positive mood, suggesting that these types of measures should be continued.
