To study Luznava's manor
In order to commence the reconstruction work of the Luznava Manor building, the municipality of Rezekne has concluded a contract with SIA “Convents” on the architectural artistic research and surveying of this building. Luznava Manor is a cultural historic monument and such activities are necessary to restore its historical attractiveness while preserving its authenticity.
Total research costs represent 11 394 lats (with VAT). After doing so, the next step will be the development of the technical project, including, as far as possible, the interior projects of the manor rooms. As forecast by local government specialists, real reconstruction works could be started in spring of next year.
It is recalled that Luznava's estate will be restored thanks to a project implemented by the municipality, which has been allocated by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. The deadline for the project is September 2012.
