“Hosture Playwood” in Rogovka

In the village of Nautrene in Rogovka, at the center of the village, two wall paintings are now delighted on the walls of the building. On one of the walls of the building, he was painted with the portraits of the great counsellor, the anniversary of that year, the Antonyva Jurge, Peter Miglinique and Anton. The second painting of the wall is a photograph showing Rogovka's pavement in the thirties.

The work of andryva Juris, who has 175 anniversaries this year, is important in that his personality and performance as well as the culture of the second half of the 19 th century of Latgale are reflected in the life of their spirit. Andryv Jurmala promoted Latgale's proximity to the other Latvian provinces, with Vidzeme, Kurzeme and Zemgale books and literary events.

Peter Miglinique, who has 170 anniversaries this year, was the leader of the Latgalians and the leader of the peasant anxiety movement. Defending the rights of the peasants against the estate-holders, he wrote the complaints and requests of the peasants. Written poems that depicted the People's Posts and inconsistencies with it. In my words, the words “I was told in Cook with the brutal i muosom.” I was told that my sweaters and blades were assured of my life and activity.

Anton Kokoy would also have an anniversary this year – 80 years. He has been not only a poet and artist, but also a very active member of Latgale culture, the director of both the art school and the head of the ceramic studio, the scenographs and the actor. He has consistently described Latgale poetry and painting it in his works.

The building on which the wall painting was carried out is the ancient pub building built in 1819, which was the largest pub in the territory of Zaļmuiža parish. In the 70 s, the vast majority of the pubs were fired to make room for the building of the present parish. Now there is a shop in this building.

The two wall paintings were performed by the young artist Laima Andrejeva, who also comes from the parish of Nautrenes. Laima is currently studying a painting at Latvian Art Academy Latgale branch, has participated in various art competitions and exhibitions.

Paintings are in the framework of the “Viesture play” project of the municipality of Nautrene parish. This year, the project received support for the creative work of the municipality of Rezekne.
