VUGD reminds me that it is dangerous to be on ice!

The National Fire-Fire and Rescue Service (VUGD) reminds everyone that in the winter period it is not only fishermen, but also people who walk or skating on ice. Therefore, VUGD calls on the population not to go to ice because it is dangerous and may endanger human health and life.
During the winter period, several dozens of people came into ice and drowned – this year during the winter period, from 1 November of last year to 14 February that year, VUGD lifted 12 drowned people from water bodies and saved seven people on ice.
The visually assessed ice thickness is not always a determining factor for safety on ice, as the frequent changes in weather conditions, the interactions of the Salam with thaw, the ice resistance are reduced. It should be noted that the ice blanket is not uniformly formed on water bodies and is thicker at the shore, but there may be a plan in the centre of the water body. In addition to that, the ice will be thinner in places where there are streams, submarine sources, tributaries, canes, bridges of bridges. In addition, the snow-covered snow blanket can create a decent idea that the ice is sufficiently thick to keep the weight of the man.
In the case of friction, then:
• The assistant must be called out loudly and the surrounding people must call 112 immediately.
• endeavour to maintain peace and stabilise breathing;
• To help, the crowd must be approaching or sleeping without approaching the point of the patch. A twine, tied garments, a long tree, or any other object must be discarded at a distance of approximately 2-5 metres. If the rescuers are several, it must be observed that one of the other must be within 2-3 m;
• When dragging the victim to ice or getting out on the ice, climb away from the dangerous place to the shore.
In order to get out of ice successfully, fishermen are invited to take a variety of assistants – ice bubbles or hooks with which they can get into the ice and thus pull themselves out. Such stylus or hooks can also be made in domestic conditions, e.g. by using a piece of wood and nails. A full angling suit with a bathing function will be useful, or the lifejacket will allow the ice to swim through the surface of the water after an invitation.
THE VUGD calls on the population to be co-responsible, not risking their health and life, and not be indifference if you see that children or teenagers are sliding through the insecure ice - warn them of danger, but if you notice that people have gone too far from the shore and may have problems returning, and if the person is in ice, call 112 immediately.
