XXVI general Latvian song and XVI dance festival - large number of Rēzekne municipality

The tradition of songs and dance festivals in Latvia is a continuous process of creative work, which cooperates with the People's art collective, professional artists and traditional cultural experts. During these festivals, both Latvian municipality and every art Genre demonstrate their achievements, enabling our citizens and guests to learn and enjoy the diversity of Latvian culture.
THE Latvian National Song and XVI dance festival will take place in Riga from 30 June to 8 July 2018. The festive week is a culmination, which has started to prepare immediately after the previous XXV festival of Latvian song and XV dance in 2013.
During the festival week, 43 000 participants from 118 Latvian municipalities will arrive in Riga, as well as other countries of the world where Latvians maintain and develop a tradition of song and dance festivals. In seven days they will participate in more than 65 events – choir, dance, blower orchestra, wood, People's music, vocal ensembles, folklore clusters, etc. in concert programmes, Latvian People's suits, People's applied art exhibition.
The municipality of Rezekne will be represented in festivals with a large number of self-activities. According to the evaluation, 32 collectors will participate in festivals, including 640 participants. It is a lasting, targeted and professional work. It is also facilitated by the creative co-operation of a collective manager, a cultural institution leader and a parish administration. The active participation of each collective participant is also important. Because a collective day is not only an attempt but also a costume preparation, transport security and other maintenance costs. It is shared responsibility. 14 In the municipality of Rēzekne municipality, a song festival process is maintained. The largest number of collective bargaining 5 is IN Maltas parish: Maltas women's choir MADARINA, leader Christine Zelina, Maltas middle-generation dance collective ROUTINES, leader Ruth Mika, Maltas People's musical instrument Ansablis MALTA, head Normunds Schteķels, Maltas parish orchestra VIKORDS, manager Vasilijs Kozlovs, Maltas parish of Russian songs, manager Svetlana Kozlova. 4 collectively participates from Dricānu parish: youth dance collective and middle-generation dance collective, leader Sylvia Bocta, folklore set BOLTA VĪŠŅA, manager Erik Chudars, women's choir TUNADZE, manager Eric Chudars. 3 collectively from Kaunatas parish youth dance collective RASA and middle-generation dance collective KAUNATA, manager alla Silva, folklore set RAZNA, manager Sandra vese. 2 collectively Lendžu parish: youth and middle-generation dance COLLECTORS, leader Cynthia Gailums. 2 – Nautrēnu parish: youth dance collective BARK VOI, manager Ingona Ludborja. 2 - Shergana parish: youth dance collective DZIETI, leader Vanda Kebe, whom these song festivals are first and Dricānu – Sherjan women's choir TUNADZE, head Erik Chudars. 2 collectively Vērēmu parish: middle-generation dance collective, driver Vineta clover and women's choir WIND, manager Solvita Pavlovska. The festival participants are also a Čornajas parish middle-class dance collective LAWYER, who represents Čornajas parish first, Feimaņu parish youth dance collective VOMIT, leader Guntis Tjarvja, Gaigalavas parish youth dance collective TWILET, manager Maira Gribuste, Lūznavas parish dance collective LUZNAVA, manager Iveta Alik, Nagļu parish community dance collective PEPPER, also first participating in song and dance festivals, Ozolmuižas parish folklore set UTILLES, manager Maria Andina, Rikavas PARISH, manager Aija Dundure. The festival members are also Rēzekne's mixed choir EZERLAND, Heads of the Anda Lipsk, Erik Chudars, rota straw. Rēzekne Municipality and Jānis Ivanova blower orchestra, ceo Ivanov, met with good results at the Latvian blower orchestra competition on July 2 in Riga orchestra at the level of the 3 rd group, and won the honest 2 nd place. In the Final Views of the voxal ensembles, the Rēzekne province of Rēzekne, the LEADER of the Guntra Kuzmina - Yukna and Edgars Yukna, took part in the final view. This collective also participates in the voxal ensemble concert “time in the ring ring”, which will be held in Mikhail Chehov at the Riga Russian Theatre. Throughout the week, THE works OF “Rēzekne county podiers” will be seen in the trade fairs of the masters in the Garden of Vermane and in the People's applied art exhibition “Radite joy” in the Riga exhibition hall “Riga Art Area”.
The main value of the festival's visual identity is a man, not just a participant, but anyone who is involved in the festival - bus driver, stitch and parents and friends... We all have a lot of satisfaction with the work done. We can be proud that we are a singing, dancing and playing municipality. Every person involved continues the tradition by creating and doing a song and dance festival, and at the same time also his country – Latvia.
